Our store is hosted on Squarespace. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.

  3. These terms of sale apply to all goods and services supplied by Solidwool Ltd via www.solidwool.com. This website is governed by the following terms and conditions; they do not affect your statutory rights.

You should check this Website from time to time to review current terms and conditions, because they are binding on you. Certain provisions of these terms and conditions may be superseded by expressly designated legal notices or terms located on particular pages of this Website. 2. ORDER PROCESS

  1. You are deemed to place an order with us by ordering via our online checkout process. As part of our checkout process you will be given the opportunity to check your order and to correct any errors. We will send you an order acknowledgement, detailing the products you have ordered.  As part of this process you will be asked to identify your geographical location so that we can advise you of any specific circumstances relating to your order.

  2. Our acceptance of an order takes place when we despatch the order. We will send you a despatch confirmation by email. When we despatch the order the purchase contract will be made, unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order or you have cancelled your order:

  4. Where goods, services or information ordered by you are not available;

  5. Where we cannot obtain authorisation for your payment;

  6. If there has been a pricing or product description error; or

  7. If you do not meet any eligibility criteria set out in our terms and conditions.

  8. If we do not deliver to your area;

Where we do not accept your order but have processed your payment, we will re-credit your account with any amount deducted by us from your debit or credit card as soon as possible, but in any event within 30 days of your order. We will not be obliged to pay any additional amount as compensation for disappointment.

  10. We cannot guarantee that colours in the website are fully equivalent to the item’s actual colour. This depends partly on the colour settings of your computer and monitor.

 3. PRICING

  1. All prices include VAT (where applicable) at the current rates. We reserve the right to express the price exclusive of VAT, but we shall show VAT separately and include it in the total price.

  2. Where we charge separately for packing, carriage and insurance and other relevant charges, the appropriate charges are calculated at checkout.

  3. Our prices are reviewed regularly and may change without prior notice at any time.

  4. All prices and charges on the Website are shown in UK pounds sterling, and any charges arising from the conversion of another currency to sterling are the responsibility of the person placing the order.

 

4. DELIVERY AND DELIVERY LIABILITY

  1. We will despatch goods ordered by you as soon as possible to the address you give us for delivery, but in any event within 14 days of your order unless otherwise stated in the product description

  2. If the goods we deliver are not what you ordered or are damaged or defective or the delivery is of an incorrect quantity, we shall have no liability to you unless:-

    ·      In the case of damaged goods you should retain the packaging and contact us immediately by email to hello@solidwool.com, ideally including photographs of the damage claimed;

    ·      In the case of incorrect goods or incorrect quantity you contact us about the problem by email to hello@solidwool.com, telephone, or in writing to our contact address, within 7 calendar days of the delivery of the goods in question.

  3. If you do not receive goods ordered by you within 14 days of the date on which you ordered them, we shall have no liability to you unless you notify us by email at our contact address of the problem within 7 calendar days of our maximum delivery period of 14 days from the date on which you ordered the goods.

  4. If you notify a problem to us in accordance with the above paragraphs, our only obligation will be, at your option:

    1.  To make good any shortage or non-delivery;

    2.     To replace or repair any goods that are accepted as damaged or defective; or

    3.     To refund to you the amount paid by you for the goods in question in whatever way we choose.

  5. Save as precluded by law, we will not be liable to you for any indirect or consequential loss, damage or expenses (including loss of profits, business or goodwill) howsoever arising out of any problem you notify to us under this condition and we shall have no liability to pay any money to you by way of compensation other than to refund to you the amount paid by you for the goods in question under clause 4.3 above.  

  6. Goods dispatched to other countries may be liable to Import Duty, Tax or VAT. When ordering from us you agree to pay any such Duties which may be imposed by your country's government.

  7. If you refuse to pay any Import Duty / Tax / VAT imposed and thereby prevent delivery of your order you will remain liable for the purchase price of the product/s and any Import Duty / Tax / VAT or penalty imposed by your government.

  8.  You must observe and comply with all applicable regulations and legislation, including obtaining all necessary customs, import or other permits to purchase goods from our site. The importation or exportation of certain of our goods to you may be prohibited by some national laws. We make no representation and accept no liability in respect of the export or import of the goods you purchase.

  9. Notwithstanding the foregoing, nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to limit any rights you might have as a consumer under applicable local law or other statutory rights, nor in any way to exclude or limit our liability to you for any death or personal injury resulting from our negligence.

5.  CANCELLATION OF CONTRACTS FOR GOODS AND RETURNS POLICY ONLY

For Individual Customers who are the end consumers.

  1. This section applies to individual customers who will use the goods (and not to businesses or other organisations) who order goods, and does not apply in the case of any made-to-measure or custom-made products or products made to their individual specification or which are clearly personalised.

    If you wish to cancel your order: 

  2. You can notify us by email to hello@solidwool.com or contact us on 020 3924 0171 before we have despatched the goods to you; or

  3. Where goods have already been despatched to you, by returning goods to Solidwool, The Yard, South View Lane, Kilmington, Devon EX13 7RG in the original packaging within 7 days of delivery, the costs of such return being borne by you.

  4. If the products have been delivered you can return goods you have ordered from us for any reason at any time within 7 days of receipt, the costs of such return being borne by you.

  5. For a full refund or exchange the goods must be received by us in an unused, undamaged and saleable condition and be returned in the original packaging.

  6. Upon receipt of the goods we will give you a full refund of the amount paid or an exchange credit as required, less (if for any reason these costs have not been paid by you) the costs of delivery to us.

  7. We refund you on the credit card or debit card used by you to pay. We cannot be responsible for any interest or bank charges incurred while waiting for refunds to your card. Refunds will normally be processed within 7 days of receipt of returned goods.

The rights to return the goods to us as referred to in the clause above will not apply in the following circumstances:

  1. in the event that the product has been used or damaged

  2. to any products that we have made or customised specifically for you, unless it is proven that there is a fault with the product.

  3. the provisions of this clause do not affect your statutory rights.

6. NEWSLETTERS

Solidwool Ltd regularly sends out a newsletter and/or other informational emails (collectively referred to as "Newsletters") to all Users. In these Newsletters, we may inform you about new services, features or products. You may choose to unsubscribe from the Newsletter at any time by following the unsubscribe link contained in each of the emails or by writing to us at hello@solidwool.com.  

7. LICENCE AND COPYRIGHT

The Company web site contains copyrighted material, trademarks and other proprietary information, including, but not limited to, text, software, photos, video, graphics, music and sound and the entire content of the web site is copyrighted as a collective work under UK and International copyright laws. The Company owns a copyright in the selection, coordination, arrangement and enhancement of such content, as well as in the content original to it. You may not modify, publish, transmit, participate in the transfer or sale, create derivative works or in any way exploit, any of the content, in whole or in part. Except as otherwise expressly permitted under copyright law or these Terms, no copying, redistribution, retransmission, publication or commercial or non-commercial exploitation of downloaded material will be permitted without the express written permission of Company and the copyright owner. 14. ONLINE ACCEPTANCE
